The Gaze
Everything
is in motion
Occhi — eyes. Filo — thread. The house began with the divine eye: an amulet worked in thread, an object that looks back at whoever wears it.
The name is inherited. Bendocchi carries occhi — eyes — in its own spelling, and with it the old gesture of warding off the evil eye with a good one. Ancestry gave us the word; the work turned it into a question of how we look, and of everything a piece gives back to whoever meets its gaze.
That movement is the kaleidoscope. A handful of fragments, a set of mirrors, and an image that reorganises itself with the smallest turn. Nothing is lost, nothing is added — only rearranged.
Handwork is non-negotiable here. Not slow for the sake of it, but present: every stitch is a decision that no factory would take.

Thread colour
The full palette is shared on request. Tonal, clashing, or one single note — the eye reads differently in every combination.
Beading

Lead time
